Delivered to Perth and Western Australia

Commercial Fridges and Freezers in Perth

Fridges, freezers, display cabinets and ice makers for Perth's cafes, restaurants, bars and food businesses. We're a Brisbane family business delivering to Western Australia, and this page covers the two things that matter most when you buy from the other side of the country: the distance and the heat.

Perth is a long way from the east coast, and that changes how you plan a fridge purchase. Perth summers are also long, hot and dry, which changes which fridge you should buy. Here's how both work when you order commercial refrigeration from us for a Perth business.

The distance, honestly

Once your order is paid and processed, it's usually dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Delivery to Perth then usually takes 5 to 10 business days, and the rest of Western Australia usually 5 to 14. These are estimates, not set dates, so if you're opening a new venue or replacing a fridge that's on its way out, order with time to spare.

Distance doesn't always mean the fridge crosses the Nullarbor. Larger items usually ship straight from the supplier's warehouse, and several suppliers have one in Perth. FED, the supplier of Thermaster, FED-X, Bonvue and Tecnodom, has a Western Australian branch at Welshpool, and Moffat, which looks after Scotsman ice makers and Friginox blast chillers, has a branch at Balcatta. On many FED and Bromic products, the delivery panel on the product page can show whether stock is held in Perth.

What delivery to WA costs

Freight to Western Australia depends on the item's weight or size and your postcode. Smaller items are priced automatically at checkout. For larger items, delivery is usually calculated and invoiced after you order. If you'd like a delivery price first, use the delivery box on the product page or ask us for a quote. Rural addresses and hard-to-reach spots can attract extra courier charges that checkout doesn't show; we'll contact you if they apply.

Perth heat and your fridge

A Perth summer brings 40°C days as a regular thing. The afternoon sea breeze helps the coast, but it doesn't reach the inside of a hot kitchen. Every model is rated by its maker for a maximum room temperature, and across our range those ratings run from 25°C up to 43°C. If your fridge sits in a room without air-conditioning, near cooking equipment or in a busy shopfront, choose a rating with headroom, or start with our tropical rated fridges. Leave the maker's ventilation gap and clean the condenser regularly: dust and kitchen grease both clog it.

Ice, and plenty of it

Hot weather means more ice for drinks, and ice makers feel the heat as much as customers do. Output is measured at set conditions, often 21°C air and 10°C water, so a machine in a hot room with warm water makes less than its headline figure. Size yours with that in mind. A modular ice maker sits on a separate ice storage bin, so the machine and the store of ice can each be sized for the venue; self-contained ice makers have the bin built in.

Before your fridge arrives

When a replacement is a week or more away, a few minutes of checking matters. Measure the spot, every doorway on the way in and the maker's ventilation gap, and check the power: product pages show whether a unit needs a 10 amp, 15 amp or three-phase supply wherever the maker lists it. Standard delivery is kerbside to a commercial address, and every delivery is tracked and needs a signature. Inspect the unit before the driver leaves and report any damage within 24 hours, because couriers reject later claims. Keep the packaging for at least 1 to 2 weeks.

Questions and answers

Perth orders: questions and answers

How long does delivery to Perth take?

Usually 1 to 3 business days to dispatch once paid and processed, then about 5 to 10 business days to Perth and 5 to 14 to the rest of WA. These are estimates, so order with time to spare.

Is there a Perth showroom?

No. We're an online business based in Brisbane. Larger items usually ship straight from the supplier's warehouse, and FED and Moffat both have Perth branches.

Do you sell SKOPE fridges in Perth?

Yes. We deliver SKOPE fridges and freezers to Perth and the rest of WA, along with Williams, Thermaster, Polar and the other brands we stock. SKOPE delivers to commercial addresses only, not to homes.

What time can I call you from Perth?

Our team answers the phone and email in Brisbane business hours, Monday to Friday. Neither Queensland nor Western Australia has daylight saving, so Brisbane is two hours ahead of Perth all year. The hours on our contact page are Brisbane time.

What if my fridge arrives damaged?

Inspect it before the driver leaves. If there's visible damage, refuse the delivery and the courier will return it to the warehouse. Damage must be reported within 24 hours, with photos or videos, to info@commercialfridgesonline.com.au.
