Commercial Back Bar Coolers

A back bar cooler is a commercial fridge made for drinks: bottles and cans stored cold behind the bar, ready to serve. This range covers back bar coolers from Polar, Williams, SKOPE, Atosa, Bromic, Anvil, AG and Hoshizaki, from 118 litre single door units up to 490 litre upright models.

What to compare on a back bar cooler

Capacity per door. Back bar coolers are sold by door count and litres. Bromic models, for example, hold 118 litres with one door, 190 litres with two and 307 litres with three, which helps when working out how much stock a shift needs on hand.

Glass or solid doors. Glass doors put the range on show to customers. Solid doors suit a cooler that sits out of sight, and are the usual choice when the doors are opened constantly through a busy service.

Where the heat goes. A self-contained back bar cooler releases its heat into the bar, so it needs the ventilation gap the maker specifies. Remote models, such as the Williams Cameo and Boronia counters, move the refrigeration unit elsewhere in the building.
